brother john
Where are they now?  Andy is in Nashville, TN. Nathan, Greg and Rick are still in the Joplin, MO area. Sid is in New York.

A new decade has passed since the disbandment of brother john.  About three years after disbanding, a reunion show took place in Joplin.

The Koinonia band, which was kind of a spin off band, got to have a reunion set in 2008, which got falsely advertised as brotherjohn.

Still the guys are collaborating on individual projects.

Greg redid "Not A Soul" for the
Indevo Records Indie Sampler.
It featured Corey, Sid, and Andy.
Andy recorded back up vocals
while in Brownsville (where he lived)
for a mission trip.  Sid and Corey
recorded in Sprinfield and uploaded
the files. This song off the original
"Questions" album got the most
airplay on local Christian radio,
because Emily, Greg's wife and
girlfriend at the time would request
it all the time on the current.

Greg also redid one of the oldest
songs, "Just Wait Brother John"
for his "Dwelling" album.  It was
orignially recorded on the "First
Try" album.  It featured Van
Benson on the keyboards who
also played on the Koinonia CD.

The most recent collaboration
featuring all of the guys.  Greg
recorded from Brownsville, and
uploaded the files.  The song,
"Hold Me" was written by Corey
and maintain the old brotherjohn
sound we know and love.

Some guys also collaborated on
the music for a documentary that
Sid directed.

Now Greg and the guys are
remaking "Go" from the selftitled
album for his work at www.gnpi.org.

Greg redid a song he wrote that was
played but never recorded by brother john. Andy came back to sing on it, well in English at least. The song was also performed in seven other languages and over 65 people from 12 different countries. Watch the video of Psalm 117 below:
